This Thursday Night: Green City Market’s Chef BBQ!
Join Chef David Digregorio and more than 100 other chefs from Chicago’s top restaurants, Thursday July 21 from 5:30-8:30 pm, as they come together to provide a tasting of local sustainable heirloom produce and heritage meats sourced from Green City Market farmers! Midwest brewers, distilleries and wineries will also be offering tastings of their handcrafted beverages that focus on locally sourced ingredients. Chef David will be serving Local Goat Sausage and Nichols Farm Peperonata—sure to be a hit!
All funds raised by the Chef BBQ go directly to support GCM’s education and outreach initiatives including LINK/EBT double value matching, Club Sprouts, The Edible Gardens, Chef Demonstration and Composting programs. General admission tickets are available for $125 or $250 for VIP admission. These can be purchased here, so please come join us at 1817 N.
