Order Sides, Salads, and Desserts for Thanksgiving!

Let Osteria Via Stato take some pressure off your Thanksgiving dinner preparation! Chef David DiGregorio provides some of his favorite side dishes for pick-up, including Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Parmesan; Local Butternut Squash with Brown Butter Sage and Black Pepper Bacon; Whipped Yukon Gold Potatoes; Rapini with Chili and Garlic; and House-made Local Cranberry Relish; in half-pans ($26.95) and whole pans ($49.95). Salads, including Chopped with Roasted Chicken, Romaine, Celery, Fennel, Tomatoes, and Mustard Vinaigrette ($50.95 for half. $85.95 for whole); Classic Caesar with Romaine Heart and Garlic Croutons ($36.95 for half, $68.95 for whole); Roasted Beets with Goat Cheese and Pistachios ($43.95 for half, $80.95 for whole); and Arugula with Peppered Bacon, Parmesan, Medjool Dates, and E.V.O.O. ($43.95 for half, $80.95 for whole). Give thanks on a sweet note with our desserts, featuring whole Chocolate Tart with Candied Orange and Cheesecake with Caramel Sauce (both $50. Starting Friday, July 31, Osteria Via Stato and Pizzeria Via Stato will entertain the Italian tradition of ‘Aperitivo’ in Chicago! Join in us Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. for our happy hour specials including $5 glasses of wine (red, white, Prosecco); $5 pints of draft beer; and an $8 cocktail-of-the-day!

Founded on Chef DiGregorio’s travels throughout Italy, Osteria Via Stato, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, follows the Italian tradition of seasonally-prepared dishes featuring local ingredients and paired with an all-Italian wine list with more than 300 Italian labels. In 2007, he opened Pizzeria Via Stato.  Nestled within Osteria Via Stato, the cozy, Roman pizzeria extends the restaurant’s warm, gracious hospitality.


With over 300 Italian labels, we have pages and pages of tempting varietals and cellars filled with hand selected bottles of wine for you to choose from (obsess over if you like). Covering the boot– from Piedmont to Sicily and everything in between, you are sure to find a multitude of delicious options to complement your meal. Offering a myriad of salads, sandwiches, pastas and dessert, Just Bring My Office Lunch is available for pick-up or delivery (delivery fees are 20% outside our complimentary 4-block radius zone) Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Perfect for groups of any size, please allow 24 hours notification for groups of ten or more (though we will do our darndest to make last-minute plans work as well).
